Yet another of the Greek Pantheon with a thing for doing it his way and damn the consequences. (Which narrows down which one I'm talking about, I'm sure.) I'm not terribly fond of any God who takes it upon themselves to dabble in the lives of mortals only when there's chance for amusement or self-gratification, but I suppose it would be remiss of me to say that the two on board don't seem to particularly mind.

So there you have it.

Now it's not just that I don't like young and cheeky personifications of winter. Nor is it just the fact that he reminds me of the four years of hell I spent waiting at bus stops while the temperatures steadily dropped below -40 degrees celsius. It is also not just the fact that the cold alone is responsible for some of the most ridiculous questions I've had to endure from my students over the centuries.

It's rather a mix of all of the above, and why blame something when you can blame someone?

It's not exactly comforting when a god asks for aid. Especially not when it's in a field they should be rather familiar with. Gods have a very linear scope of abilities after all and tend to take offense when anyone else overshadows them at it. (Only ask the nearest spider for proof.) So, understandably, I'm curious. I wonder if he would mind a bit of prying...
